Fanily car, owned by my father and given to me , driven few years and stored in barn since 1981. Car is completely intact, was driven last in 1981 to be restored "when I retire". But alas, priorities change and now it is not in my plans. Interior is fine red leather seats, wood trim. Exterior has numerous rust issues especially over headlights, front and rear fender bottoms. Floor pan is solid, all doors close perfectly, all glass intact. Four speed column shift has linkage problems, pesky little connectors need attention. Engine ran a long time ago but dosen't turn over now. Radio can on when new battery was connected. Exterior body need paint, chrome needs replacement -except for stainless steel trim. Spare parts Include both front fenders, miscellaneous stuff (insee photo of boxes in trunk)

The front wings were painted in the mid-´90s. Hood, bonnet and trunk- cover still with the first paint, as well as all inner parts are. Original fabrics, carpets, roof lining. Original chrome- in majority unbelievable preserved! Collectorpiece- nearly 6 decades old... it could have been one.
Bought new by the grand uncle in 1958, left to the mother in 1970, and later to the son. 1 family ownership from new! First ownership documents, service documents and period photographs.
Solid. Huge benefit for a modest investment. Mobile capital.
1958 Mercedes-Benz 220S 1958 Mercedes-Benz 220S

1958 Mercedes 220s 4 door sedan with original nogelhide interior. The car is German spec, 4 speed on the column and has about 83000 kilometers (52000 miles) on it. The car is complete and comes with new tires an extra transmission, bell housing and starter. I and a friend bought this car 40 years and it has been in inside storage all but one year. We bought the car at a storage auction and were told the car had been in inside storage at least 5 years at that time. The font end damage occurred during moving the car from one storage site to another. While I have always wanted to restore this car I have never had the location or time to do it correctly. To be fare this car needs to be stripped down the frame to be properly restored but it would be well worth the money once completed.
